STUFFING

35-40 slices white bread, cubed
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp sage
1 cup butter
3 cups chopped celery with leaves
1 1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup white wine, plus 1/2 cup water and 2 cups chicken bouillon cubes
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup chopped parsley and sliced mushrooms

Place bread cubes and seasonings in a large bowl. Sauté onions and celery in the butter. Add then next 3 ingredients and simmer and pour into bowl. Add the beaten eggs and parsley. Mix well. Note: Enough for a 24 lb turkey or bake in greased casserole dishes until browned.
