BACON AND CHEESE BISCUITS

2 cups flour
1/2 cup shortening and shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 cup plus 2 tbsp milk
1/4 cup chopped green onions
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Combine flour and shortening, cutting shortening in until mixture resembled a coarse meal. Add next 4 ingredients, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead lightly 4-5 times. Roll dough to a 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 450 for 10-12 minutes.
