CRABMEAT SAUTE

Category: Fish and Seafood

1 lb lump crab meat (you can substitute crawfish or shrimp, or use any combination of these if you wish)
1 stick butter
2 or 3 small red chili peppers, chopped fine
1 medium green bell pepper, chopped fine
1 8 oz container fresh mushrooms, chopped fine
dash of salt
dash of onion powder
dash of cayenne pepper, or to taste
dash of garlic powder
3 cups cooked white or wild rice

Combine crabmeat and butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the finely chopped vegetables and mix. Add all of the seasonings and cook together for about 15 minutes. Taste and adjust seasonings. Serve over cooked rice.
