CHOCOLATE PEANUT SNICKERS COOKIES

3/4 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup each sugar and packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups flour
2 tbsp cocoa powder
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
4 snickers bars, coarsely chopped

Preheat oven to 350. Cream together butter and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition and vanilla, until light a fluffy. Combine dry ingredients and gradually blend into creamed mixture. Stir in chopped candy bars. Dry by heaping tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9-13 minutes. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet to remove to wire racks to completely cool. Store in tightly covered container.
