VALENTINE TRIFLE DELIGHT

1 pkg white cake mix, made according to pkg directions and cut into small pieces
1 (12 oz) container whipped topping
4 pints strawberry, divided
2 tsp water
1 tsp cornstarch
1 cup sugar

Combine 3 pints of strawberries and sugar in a saucepan. Cook, stirring over medium high heat, about 8 minutes. Strain remaining berries from liquid. Puree liquid and half the berries in blended. Return to saucepan, add remaining 1 pint of strawberries and mix in cornstarch. Heat and stir until thickened, about 3 minutes. Place in refrigerator until chilled.

Mix 1 1/2 cups bowling water to 2 (4 oz) pkgs strawberry Jell-O. Then add 2 cups cold water, mix and cool until slightly firm. Mix with whipped topping and chill.

In a clear glass bowl, layer the cake pieces and top with whipped topping and spread strawberry glaze on the top. Repeat until all ingredients are done, ending with whipped topping and strawberry glaze with berries.
