MEXICAN SHRIMP COCKTAIL

4 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 bunch green onions and cilantro with stems removed, chopped
1 lb uncooked medium shrimp, peeled
1 jar clam juice
Ketchup
Limes
Tabasco sauce
Mix cilantro with tomatoes and onions; set aside. Boil shrimp in clam juice until pink, add enough water as needed to cover shrimp. Remove shrimp, reserving liquid; strain.
To serve, In a tall glass, lightly layer shrimp and tomato mixture in several layers. Pour strained liquid over layers. Add a few squires ketchup, some lime juice and some Tabasco and stir together and spoon on top of each shrimp glass.
