SAUTEED ASPARAGUS WITH GOUDA CHEESE

Category: Asparagus

1 tbsp plus 1 1/2 tsp unsalted butter
1 lb thin asparagus, trimmed
Coarse salt and ground pepper
2 oz aged gouda cheese, shaved (Can use parmesan or pecorino cheese)

Melt butter in a skillet. Add asparagus and saute until tender, about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a large platter and shave with cheese. Serve immediately. Serves 4
