SAUTEED ASPARAGUS II

Category: Asparagus

2 tbsp oil
2 lb asparagus, trimmed and cut
1/2 cup water or chicken broth
1/2 tsp sugar
Salt, to taste
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp toasted sesame oil

Heat oil in skillet. Add asparagus. Stir. Add liquid, salt and sugar. Cover and cook about 4 minutes, stirring. Uncover, increase heat and cook to evaporate liquid. Remove from heat and drizzle with soy sauce and oil.
