ASPARAGUS WITH BRIE SAUCE

1 lb asparagus, ends removed
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1 cup milk
6 oz brie cheese, rind remove
Salt and white pepper, to taste
Dash nutmeg

Steam asparagus until just tender. Meanwhile, melt butter in a saucepan and stir in flour. Cook for 2 minutes then stir in milk. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Cut rindless cheese into pieces and add to sauce, stirring until melted. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Spoon sauce over cooked asparagus. Serve immediately. Serves 4-6.
