ASPARAGUS AND ARTICHOKE QUICHE

1 pie shell, baked
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
1 cup milk
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup grated Monterey jack
1 cup fresh asparagus, stalk; tips, broken into 1 1/2 inch pieces
1 cup cut-up artichoke hearts
Blanched asparagus stalks, for garnish

Bake pie shell until slightly brown. Mix next 6 ingredients, pour into pie shell. Bake 350 for approximately 20-30 minutes until firm; golden brown. Garnish with asparagus spears.
