CHOCOLATE SNOWBALL COOKIES

1/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 (1 oz) square unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

Snow Glaze
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 tbsp plus 2 tsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 350. Cream butter. Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add chocolate, vanilla and egg, beating well. Combine dry ingredients and gradually add to the creamed mixture until smooth. Chill dough 1-2 hours. Shape dough in 1 inch balls. Place on greased cookie sheets and bake for 12 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Dip cookies with the Snowy Glaze. Store in airtight container.

Glaze: Combine ingredients and beat until smooth.
