CHICKEN IN WINE SAUCE - Easy

1/2 cup flour
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 chicken cut up (About 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lbs)
1/4 cup oil
1 p[kg dry onion soup mix
1 cup dry white wine
Water

Combine flour, salt and pepper and coat chicken with mixture. Brown in oil on all sides. Sprinkle with soup mix and pour in wine. Add a little water. Cover, simmer until tender, about 45 minutes.
