1 tsp salt and chili powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder, celery seed and pepper
1 (2 1/2 lb) beef brisket, trimmed

Sauce
1/2 cup ketchup and chili sauce
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 tbsp cider vinegar and Worcestershire sauce
1 - 1 1/2 tsp liquid smoke
1/2 tsp ground mustard

Combine first 6 ingredients; rub over brisket. Place in a crock pot. In a bowl, combine sauce ingredients and pour half of sauce over brisket; set aside remaining. Cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours or until meat is tender. Serve with reserved sauce. Serves 8
