LAYERED MACARONI AND HAM SALAD

1 1/2 to 2 cups diced ham
1 cup cooked shell macaroni
4 cups shredded lettuce
1 small red onion
3 hard boiled eggs, chopped or sliced
1 cups shredded sharp cheddar or Swiss cheese

Dressing
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
1 1/2 tsp dill weed
1/2 tsp salt
Dash pepper

Layer salad ingredients in order given; cover and mix dressing ingredients; cover. overnight in refrigerator. Just before serving, mix together to combine.
