CREAMY MEATBALLS - Crock pot

1/4 cup butter
1 medium onion, chopped
2 lbs ground beef
2 eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition 2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp each tarragon and marjoram
2 1/2 tbsp flour
5 1/2 tbsp tomato paste
3/4 cup beef stock
4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp vinegar
1/2 lb mushrooms, sliced
1 cup sour cream

Saute onion in half the butter in a skillet until golden brown and then place in a crock pot. Mix together beef, eggs, salt and pepper and form into small balls. Brown meatballs in same pan. Sprinkle with seasonings and flour. Shake the pan to turn the meatballs and coat them with the flour. Put them in the crock pot.

Mix together next 4 ingredients in frypan. Scrape the pan and cook for 2 minutes. Pour over meatballs. Cover and cook on LOW for 1 1/2 hours.

Melt remaining butter in pan and saute mushrooms for a few minutes. Add mushrooms and sour cream to the meatballs and heat through.
