DEEP SOUTH BAKED CHICKEN

1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb) chicken, cut into serving pieces
1 cup baking mix
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup melted butter

Rinse and pat dry chicken pieces. Combine baking mix with seasoning and pecans. Dip chicken in evaporated milk and coat with baking mix mixture. Arrange on a 13x9 inch baking pan and pour melted butter over top. Bake, uncovered, at 375 for 1 hour or until fork tender.
