* BEEF TACO DIP*

1 lb ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1/2 pkg taco seasoning mix
Several dashes hot sauce
1 tbsp flour
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar, Mexican blend or Monterey jack cheese
1 small tomato, chopped
1 tbsp chopped green onion
Sour cream
Tortilla or corn chips

Cook beef and garlic until browned. Drain and then stir in next 3 ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, about 5 minutes.

Toss cheese with flour and add to meat mixture, a little at a time, stirring until just melted. Transfer to a fondue pot. Dollop with sour cream and garnish with tomatoes and green onions. Serve with chips.
