BEEF TIPS AND RICE

2 1/2 lbs cubed sirloin steak
1 1/2 cups flour
4 tbsp oil
1 tsp pepper
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 lb sliced mushrooms
2 cups rice
2 cups beef broth

Cut steak into 1 inch cubes. Mix flour and seasonings in a bag and coat meat in flour mixture.

Heat oil in a skillet and brown meat. Add vegetables to meat and cooked until tender. Add broth; cover and simmer 3-4 hours on low heat. Add additional water or broth if needed.

Cook rice according to package directions and serve beef tips over rice.
