CHOCOLATE OATMEAL SANDWICH COOKIES

2 1/2 cups plus 2 tbsp butter, softened
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
4 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups unsifted flour
1/2 cup cocoa
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
6 cups oats
12 oz pkg chocolate chips
1 (14 oz) can condensed milk

Heat oven to 375. Beat 2 2/3 cups butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in eggs and 3 tsp vanilla; then combine dry ingredients. Stir in oats. Drop by tbspfuls on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 10 minutes or until set. Cool.

In a saucepan, combine chips, milk and remaining butter and vanilla. Immediately sandwich together with chocolate mixture.
