1/4 small watermelon, seedless
8 oz fresh pineapple, in bite-size pieces
1 6 oz carton blueberries
1 6 oz carton blackberries
2 tangerines, peeled

Separate the tangerine segments, slicing segments in 1/2 cross-wise. Wash and look over the berries; gently dry berries on paper towel. Remove rind from melon, leaving one long piece of fruit with a triangular shape [looking at the short side]. Slice watermelon into 1/2 inch thick triangles.

On a large round platter, form 5 stacks of watermelon triangles, to make a star, with the tips of the triangles pointing outwards. Mix the fruits and berries, then pile in the middle of the star. It looks nicest if you let some of the fruit spill over around the watermelon.

Optional: Mix the fruits and berries with some poppy seed dressing before placing on the platter.
