SOUTHWESTERN SQUASH CASSEROLE

8 medium yellow squash sliced
1/2 cup sour cream
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons chopped chives
6 slices bacon, crisp and crumbled
1(4-ounce can chopped green chilies, drained
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
12 saltine crackers(I used Ritz)
Paprika(to taste)

Place squash in a saucepan with water to cover. Cook over high heat until tender and drain .Combine remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour mixture in large baking pan and bake at 350 for 30 minutes until brown.
