BACON AND HORSERADISH SUMMER SLIDERS

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
2 tsp fresh minced garlic
1/4 cup minced onion
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
6 slices crisp-cooked bacon, halved
12 mini hamburger rolls (or cut-out rolls), split

Horseradish Mayonnaise:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp sour cream
3 tbsp prepared horseradish
1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1/4 tsp salt

To make your slider patties, combine the beef, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix with your hands. Divide into 12 equally-sized balls, and shape into patties. Cover, refrigerate, and let patties chill for at least an hour, or even overnight.

To make mayonnaise, whisk together the mayo, sour cream, horseradish, pepper, and salt. Refrigerate at least an hour, and up to 3 days.

Grill you mini burgers about two minutes per side for medium doneness, 3 minutes a side for well done. Serve these little burgers on your buns, topped with a piece of bacon and some of your horseradish mayonnaise. Serves 12 as an appetizer (one slider each)
