CHOCOLATE BUTTER GOOEY CAKE

1 1/4 sticks unsalted butter
1 box chocolate cake mix
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 lb powdered sugar
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, room temperature
2 eggs
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350. Mix first 3 ingredient until well blended. Press into a greased and floured 13x9 inch baking pan. Cream sugar and cream cheese; add eggs and chocolate chips. Pour mixture over bottom layer. Bake for 30-40 minute or until lightly browned.
