CHUCH SUPPER HAM LOAF

1 lb each ground ham and lean sausage, room temperature
2 cup soft bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 small onion, chopped
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp each curry powder and dry mustard
1/8 tsp each ground nutmeg and paprika
Basting sauce
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup each water and vinegar
1/4 tsp pepper
Preheat oven to 350. Lightly oil a 13x9 inch baking pan. In a large bowl, combine meats and bread crumbs; mix lightly.
In a bowl, beat eggs. Add sour cream, onion, lemon juice and seasonings; blend well. Pour over meat mixture; mix lightly to combine. Shape into a loaf and place in prepared pan. Bake, uncovered, 1 hour.
Mix basting sauce ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil
When loaf has baked for 45 minutes; remove from oven and drain off fat. Pour sauce over top and continue to bake 15 minutes longer, basting loaf with sauce.
