Shelly's Recipe

TROPICAL BBQ SAUCE

1 cup water
1 cup packed brown sugar
3 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 cup crushed pineapple
1 tbsp arrowroot or cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup cold water
1 tsp dry mustard

Mix together water and brown sugar. Add next 3 ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer about 10 minutes. Add arrowroot mixture to sauce and continue to cook until thickened.
