COUNTRY PORK RIBS

5 lb country pork ribs
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 tsp dried rosemary and marjoram, chopped
1 bay leaf
4 oz white pepper
12 oz can white vinegar
12 oz can sauerkraut
3 scallions, 1/2 inch slices
1 tsp caraway seeds
1 medium onion, large dices
1/2 cup water
2 large potatoes

Season ribs with seasonings; place bone side down on a sheet pan. Add bay leaf with vinegar. Bake at 350 until tender. Remove drippings.

Add sauerkraut, and next 4 ingredients and 1/2 cup of water. Grate potatoes with mixture. Finish cooking on top of stove in covered pan.
