SNICKERDOODLE APPLE CRISP

4 medium apples, peeled, cored and chopped
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 (17 ounce) package Snickerdoodle Cookie Mix
10 tablespoons melted butter
3/4 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup chopped nuts, lightly toasted
Optional: vanilla ice cream
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease medium baking dish. In a large bowl, mix chopped apples, brown sugar and flour. Pour into prepared baking dish.
In same bowl, combine cookie mix, cinnamon-sugar pouch and melted butter. Mix until entire mixture is moistened. Stir in oats and nuts. Sprinkle mixture over apples. Bake until bubbly, about 45 to 50 minutes. Serve warm topped with ice cream.
Refrigerate any leftovers.
