SPICY HONEY GLAZED PORK CHOPS

Category: Pork - Chops and Steaks

5-6 center cut pork chops, 1/4 inch thick
2 tbsp onions, chopped fine
2 tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic, chopped fine

Glaze
1 cup honey or molasses
1 1/2 tsp parsley
1/4 tsp rubbed sage and cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp course black pepper

Mix glaze ingredients in a large flat bowl. In a skillet, add olive oil, garlic and onions. Simmer until onions are transparent. (A small amount water may need to be added to keep from burning.) Spray a baking dish with cooking spray.

Preheat oven to 325. Remove onions and garlic mixture and add to glaze. Dip chops in glaze and place in dish. Bake for 1 hour or until tender.
