SHRIMP WITH FETA CHEESE

1 lb unpeeled large shrimp, peeled and deveined
3/4 cup chopped green onions
2 tbsp chopped parsley and olive oil
1 (14.5 oz) can Italian-style tomatoes, drained
1/4 tsp salt and pepper
2 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup clam juice or vegetable broth
1/4 cup melted butter and dry white wine
1 1/2 tsp dried oregano
4 oz crumbled feta cheese
Cook green onions and parsley in oil in a large skillet over medium heat for 1 minute.  Stir in tomatoes and next 3 ingredients.  Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.  Heat oven to broil.  Add clam juice to tomato mixture.  Cook 5 minutes more.  Pour into an 11x7 inch broiler-proof baking pan.  Set aside.  
Cook shrimp in butter in a medium skillet over medium heat for 3 minutes or until shrimp turn pink.  Spoon shrimp over sauce in baking dish.  Sprinkle with wine, oregano and cheese.  Broil 5 1/2 inch from heat for 5 minutes.  Spoon shrimp and sauce into individual bowls.  Serve with crusty French bread to enjoy all the sauce.  May also be served over rice or pasta.  Serves 4
