CHICKEN WITH CITRUS RUB

2 1/2 - 3 lb chicken pieces
1 orange, lemon or lime, cut in half
1/2 tsp finely shredded orange, lemon or lime peel
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon and cayenne pepper

Wash and pat dry chicken pieces. Squeeze and rub the surface with the fruit. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients and sprinkle over chicken pieces and rub in. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Grill, bone side up, over medium heat for 20 minutes. Turn and grill 10-20 minutes more or until chicken is tender and juices run clear. Serves 4
