DEVILED CRAB

2 tbsp butter and flour
1 cup milk
Several dashes hot sauce
1 (6 oz) can crab meat, drained, flaked and cartilage removed
1 hard cooked egg, chopped
1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
2 tbsp chopped pimiento
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1 tbsp butter, melted
1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted

In a saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour. Add milk and pepper sauce all at once. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 minute more. Stir in next 5 ingredients. Spoon into 4 (10 oz) casserole dishes. Top with bread crumbs with 1 tbsp melted butter; sprinkle over casseroles. Top with almonds. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes or until tops brown. Serves 4
