APPLE SQUARES

1 pkg yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
2 apples thinly sliced
1 cup sour cream
1 egg

Preheat oven to 350. Combine first 2 ingredients, mix until crumbly. Reserve 2/3 for topping. Add brown sugar and cinnamon to reserved topping mix; blend well and set aside. Press remaining mixture onto the greased bottom of a 13x9 inch baking pan. Arrange apple slices over bake.

Blend sour cream and egg; spread evenly over apples. Sprinkle reserving topping mix over all. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cut into squares and serve warm. Refrigerate leftovers.
