MINI CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 350. Lightly grease cookie sheets or spray lightly with cooking spray. Sift the flour and salt into a small bowl. Beat butter, sugar, cream cheese, egg, and vanilla extract in a bowl until creamy. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in mini chips. Drop by rounded tbsp onto prepared baking sheets.

Using your fingers or the back of a spoon, slightly shape and flatten the dough. (I found the cookie looked much nicer when I did this.)

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes; remove to wire racks to finish cooling.
