MIAMI CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

3/4 cup sugar, packed brown sugar and butter
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup sour cream
2 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375. In a medium combine dry ingredients set aside.

In another bowl, cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy; add eggs, vanilla and sour cream. Beat until light and fluffy. Scrap bowl and add dry ingredients until just combined. Do not over mix. Add chocolate chips.

Drop by rounded tbspfuls about 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets. Bake for 9-10 minutes. Quickly place cookies on wire rack to cool.
