1 dozen scallops, removed from the shell and cleaned. Save the shells
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 green onion, chopped
Butter
Pepper
Lemon juice, from real lemons
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese and seasoned bread crumbs
Preheat oven to 350. Saute chopped garlic and onion in olive oil until softened. Place about 1/2 tsp butter in each shell. Place 2-3 scallops in each shell, depending on their size. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add some lemon juice being careful not to overflow. Bake 9-10 minutes. Top with parmesan cheese and bread crumbs and broil until they are slightly golden brown. Do not over cook. Serve with lemon wedges. Serves 3-4
