SOUTHERN STYLE HAM CASSEROLE

8 oz egg noodles, cooked al dente and drained
1 1/2 cups chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup water
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup milk
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 cups ham, cooked and cubed
4 oz mushroom pieces
1 1/2 cups shredded Italian cheese blend

Preheat oven to 350. While noodles are cooking, cook vegetables in water about 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.

In a 2 quart baking dish, mix together cheese, milk and garlic until smooth. Gently stir in noodles, vegetables and reamining ingredients. (I sprinkle the cheese on top.) Bake, covered, for 35 minutes. (I then uncover and allow the cheese to brown a little.) Serves 4
