1 lb beef top round steak, 1 inch thick
1/2 cup prepared Italian dressing
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tsp olive oil
2 medium zucchini, quartered, cut into 1/4 inch slices
1 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
1 (14 1/2 oz) can diced Italian seasoned tomatoes, undrained
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
2 cups cooked bowtie pasta
Garnish: grated parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil

Place beef, dressing and garlic in a zip-lock bag. Marinate in refrigerator 6-8 hours or overnight, turning occasionally to coat. Remove steak from marinade and discard marinade. Press pepper evenly into both sides of steak. Heat a large skillet to medium heat until heat. Add steak, cook 11-12 minutes for medium rare, turning once. Season with salt. Keep warm.

In same skillet, heat oil. Add zucchini and mushrooms, stir-fry 2-3 minutes or until tender. Add tomatoes and red pepper. Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add pasta, heat through.

Meanwhile, carve steak crosswise into thin slices. Serve with vegetable mixture. Garnish. Serves 4
