SPICY SHRIMP OVER LINGUINE

1 lb linguine, cooked al dente
2 tbsp olive oil
2 clove garlic, minced
1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
1/2 tsp salt, crushed red pepper and dried oregano
1 1/2 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined

While pasta is cooking, in a stock pot, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and saute until golden. Add the tomatoes and spices and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the shrimp and cook 3-4 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink. Serve over linguine. Serves 6-8
