MARINATED BEEF SHORT RIBS

3 lb beef short ribs
1 tbsp dry mustard and warm water
3 tbsp wine vinegar
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tbsp instant minced onion and salt
1 tsp pepper
1 1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Trim fat from meat, cut into serving size pieces. Place in bowl. Combine mustard and water. Let stand 10 minutes. Add vinegar, oil, onion and spices. Pour over ribs. Refrigerate 12 hours. Turn once. Remove from marinade and place in roasting pan. Roast 450 for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and pour marinade over ribs. Cover pan and roast 325 1 hour, baste occasionally.
