ITALIAN-STYLE STEAK

4 (10 oz) boneless strip steaks
1 (24 oz) Italian peeled tomatoes, do not drain
1 tbsp pepper and garlic salt
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 tsp oregano
2 tbsp cooking oil and wine vinegar

Rub steaks with pepper and garlic salt. Arrange steaks in a heavy skillet and top with rest of ingredients. Cover and simmer about 1 1/4 hours. Serves 4
