CHOCOLATE TOASTED ALMOND TORTE

1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
1 cup skim milk
1/2 cup sugar and unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups whipped topping
39 chocolate wavers
1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted
1/4 cup fresh raspberries

In a small saucepan, sprinkle gelatin over water and let stand for 1 minute. Over low heat, stir until gelatin completely dissolves, about 2 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a food processor, process milk and next 3 ingredients until blended. While processing, through feed tube, gradually add gelatin mixture, processing until blended. Pour into a medium bowl. With a wire whisk, blend 1 1/2 cups whipped topping. Chill until slightly thickened. Line bottom and sides of a 9 inch springform pan with 35 wafers. Spoon thickened chocolate mixture into a lined pan. Chill until firm, about 2 hours. Halve remaining wafers. Garnish torte with remaining whipped topping, toasted almonds and halved wafers.
