MEXICAN BISCUIT CASSEROLE

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 (6 oz) pkg taco seasoning mix
3/4 cup water
1 (16 oz) can kidney beans, undrained
1 (11 oz) can whole kernel corn with sweet peppers, drained
3 1/4 cups baking mix
1 cup milk
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Brown beef and drain. Add seasoning mix according to pkg directions, except use 3/4 cup water. Add beans and corn; bring the mixture to boiling.
Meanwhile, combine the biscuit mix and milk. Stir until all is moistened. Beat for 30 more seconds. Roll dough out on a floured surface to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with a 2 inch cutter, making 10 biscuits. Spoon hot mixture into a casserole dish and top with cheese. Top with biscuits and bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until biscuits are done. Let stand for 5 minutes.
