ZESTY BARBECUED CHICKEN

2 (3 lb) chickens, quartered
1/2 cup chopped onion and tomato soup
1/2 clove garlic, crushed
3/4 cup ketchup and water
2 tbsp salad oil and cider vinegar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp chili powder and salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Place chicken, skin side up on grill 3-4 inch over medium coals. Grill 15 minutes, turn and grill second side for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, simmer remaining ingredients in a saucepan for 15-20 minutes. Baste chicken with sauce, continue grilling 25-30 minutes longer, turning and basting chicken every 5 minutes. Serve with remaining sauce. Serves 8
