COUNTRY-STYLE PORK ROAST

1/2 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp garlic powder, sage, salt and pepper
5 lb pork shoulder or fresh picnic or other pork roast

In a bowl, mix spices and rub on roast. Place in a shallow ban and bake at 325 for 3 1/2 - 4 hours. Make gravy with pan drippings.
