CHOCOLATE COCONUT CRUNCH COOKIES

2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp almond extract
2 cups shredded coconut
1 (12 oz) pkg chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups almonds, lightly salted dry roasted and finely chopped
Preheat oven to 300. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Cream butter and sugars. Beat in eggs and extracts. Mix until blended. Do not over mix.
Add remaining ingredients; stir just until blended. Drop dough by tbspfuls 2 inch apart onto an ungreased cookies sheet. Bake for 18-20 minutes. Transfer to wire racks to cool. Store in airtight containers or freeze.
