WHIPPED MILK CHOCOLATE FROSTING

1/2 cup heavy or whipping cream
1 cup milk chocolate pieces or 2 (3 oz) bar milk chocolate, broken into bits

Pour cream in a small saucepan. Place over moderate heat until cream begins to boil. Remove from pan. Add chocolate and stir until melted. Beat mixture with a spoon until it is smooth and creamy. Let cool completely. Whip at high speed with a mixer until it thickened and forms soft peaks.
