FROSTY DREAM SQUARES

40 vanilla wafers, finely crushed, about 1 1/2 cups
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 cups cold milk
2 (4 serving) pkg instant vanilla pudding
1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, thawed, divided
2 cups any flavored sherbet, softened

Line a 13x9 inch baking pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan. Mix first 3 ingredients and press firmly onto bottom of pan and refrigerate while preparing filling.

Add milk to dry pudding mixes and beat with a wire whisk 2 minutes or until well blended. Gently stir in half of the whipped topping. Spoon evenly over crust. Refrigerate 10 minutes.

Add remaining whipped topping to sherbet; stir with wire whisk until well blended. Spoon evenly over pudding layer; cover. Freeze at least 3 hours or overnight. Use foil handles to remove from pan before cutting into pieces to serve. Store leftovers in freezer.
