SAUSAGE WRAPS WITH BOURBON MUSTARD SAUCE

1 recipe for garlic cheese drop biscuits
24 oz kielbasa sausage, cut into 6 portions
Creole seasoning
1/2 cup Dijon or Creole mustard
1/4 cup honey
1 tbsp whiskey

Preheat oven to 375. Lightly grease a baking sheet.

Prepare biscuit dough and on a lightly floured surface, pat out the biscuit mixture into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick. Cut lengthwise into 6 equal strips. Skewer sausages on skewers. Wrap each sausage diagonally with dough. Sprinkle lightly with Creole seasoning.

Place on baking sheet and bag until sausages are warmed and the crust is golden brown, about 15 – 20 minutes.

In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients until smooth. Remove sausages from the sticks and arrange on a plate. Serve hot with mustard sauce for dipping.
