GREEK PASTITIO

1 pkg pasta, cooked al dente
1 lb ground beef or lamb
2 onions, chopped
3 clove garlic, chopped
1 can whole tomatoes, chopped and liquid drained
1 tsp oregano, basil, allspice, cinnamon and sugar
Topping
4 tbsp butter
4 tbsp flour
2 cups milk
3 tbsp parmesan cheese
6 oz feta cheese
2-3 eggs, beaten
Brown meat with onions and garlic. Add spices, sugar and drained tomatoes. Let sauce simmer 30-45 minutes. Mix in cooked pasta and put in baking pan.
Topping: Melt butter in sauce and mix in flour to form paste. Add milk and heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. When thick, add cheeses; stir until melted. Let this mixture cool completely before adding beaten eggs. After eggs are stirred in, pour this mixture over meat and pasta. Bake about 45 minutes or until brown.
