PARMESAN POTATO AU GRATIN - Easy

4 large baking potatoes
1 (16 oz) jar roasted garlic parmesan sauce (Ragu or Bertolli)
1 small sweet onion, thinly sliced
2 tsp dried chives
1 tsp dried parsley
Pepper, to taste
Additional grated parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 350. Boil potatoes in a saucepan in lightly salted water until almost tender, about 15 minutes; drain and allow to cool slightly. Peel and cut into 1/4 inch slices.
In a lightly greased casserole dish, layer potatoes, onions, chives, parsley and pepper. Pour sauce over all and sprinkle with additional cheese. Bake about 30 to 45 minutes or until potatoes and onions are tender.
